Austerity and the Way to God
By austerity only can one even approach the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is within the heart of every living entity and at the same time beyond the reach of all senses.
The “Morals” of Meat-Eating
Human beings are meant to eat vegetarian food. The tiger does not come to eat your fruits. His prescribed food is animal flesh. But man’s food is vegetables, fruits, grains, and milk products. So how can you say that animal killing is not a sin?
To Know the Unknowable
Lord Krsna says nobody knows Him. Even the demigods on higher planets, who are more intelligent and more advanced than human beings, do not know Krsna. Nor do the seven great sages whose planet is near the polestar. They also do not know Him.
“We Don’t Begin from Zero”
That is rascaldom. Where is the accident? Nothing is accidental. Everything happens by cause and effect. The Bible says that in the beginning there was God, or the word of God. So God was there.
Everything Belongs to Krsna
Everything belongs to Krsna. We are artificially enjoying so frustration will come but if we return everything to Krsna, then it will be all right. So the best thing is to return everything to Krsna. This is Krsna consciousness. Then you will not be loser; you’ll be gainer.
The Highest Love
Here is happiness: one must approach Krsna. Otherwise, it will end in LSD—confusion and roaming in impersonal void concepts. People are frustrated. They must be frustrated if they do not have genuine spiritual life because a person is spiritual by nature.

Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu
Devotees who have thus developed the spontaneous love of God naturally have no motive behind the performance of their devotional services. Whatever they do for the satisfaction of the Lord has no ulterior motive save and except the satisfaction of the Lord.

Ratha-Yatra — A Festival of Spiritual Pleasure
This Ratha-yatra festival is very old—at least five thousand years old. Lord Krsna, along with His elder brother, Balarama, and His sister, Subhadra, once rode in a chariot from Dvaraka to Kuruksetra, and this festival commemorates Krsna’s riding with His family on the chariot.
Independently You Cannot Be Happy
Every limb of the body must cooperate with the stomach. If the finger thinks, “I shall remain independent and be happy,” that is not possible. The stomach must be supplied food, and then all the other parts of the body will be happy.
