Srila Vyasatirtha appeared in the Fifteenth Century in India. His place in the disciplic succession of Krsna consciousness is as flowers: He was the guru of Laksmipati, who was the guru of Madhavendra Puri, who was the guru of Isvara Puri, who was the guru of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who distributed love of Krsna to all peoples everywhere through the process of chanting the holy name, Hare Krsna. Vyasatirtha was a great writer, the author of many books, and has been called "the best of the knowers of the perpose of the Vedic scriptures."
